Churros in Copenhagen: Fresh and Made to Order

Where to find freshly made churros in Copenhagen: how we make them, the five flavours, and which shops to visit.

Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and best when they are still warm: that is how churros should be. In Copenhagen you can get them freshly made at Rajissimo, in shops from Nyhavn to Nørrebro.

What are churros?

Churros are a fried pastry made from a simple dough of flour and water, piped into long shapes and fried until golden. They come from Spain, where they became a popular breakfast and street food, and over time they spread across Europe and Latin America. Today they are a favourite dessert and sweet snack almost everywhere.

How we make our churros

Our churros are fried to order and served warm, coated in our signature cinnamon sugar. Every serving is made fresh, so you get the crunch and the soft centre at their best. You can have them classic, or with dips and toppings.
